About Fanadin

  1. While we recognize that more advertising could have been beneficial, our small team operates with limited resources. Advertising requires a financial investment, and maintaining our servers already costs several thousand dollars. That said, we did allocate funds toward advertising efforts. As for Reddit, I personally have reservations about its effectiveness, as I believe bot activity often influences visibility more than genuine user engagement—but that is a separate discussion. 1-58 content is a large part of the content the game offers, I am not in favor of removing it or boosting through it. Leveling is one of the best parts of the game, and a lot of players prefer leveling over end-game content. I appreciate your support and kind words, I agree, this is the best TBC server .
  2. As long as I'm involved, there won't be addons or leveling boosts — those go against the core philosophy this server was built on. I'm also not personally invested in dual spec and don’t think it would make a significant difference in the long run. Every server has a finite lifespan, and honestly, this one has already lasted longer than I expected. I’m proud of what’s been accomplished here, and while I understand the desire to shake things up, I’d rather see the server maintain its identity than chase short-term numbers at the cost of what made it unique in the first place. What comes next is uncertain, but any direction we take will be guided by the server’s original intent.
  3. Recent itemization changes are outlined in this discussion, with further adjustments expected. If you feel a specific raid-obtained item is underwhelming, you are encouraged to share your feedback in the thread. However, full 2.1 itemization will not be implemented, as their inflated stats would diminish the challenge of raid content. Additionally, a properly normalized competitive arena environment requires thousands of players, which is not feasible. To help maintain balance, "beginner" crafted items have been enhanced. Striking the right balance is crucial—items should neither be overpowered nor ineffective. Rewards from a 25-man raid should feel meaningful without leading to excessive power creep. Furthermore, I prefer to avoid modifying items that players have already obtained, unless it's to improve them.
  4. Submit a support ticket.
  5. A minor adjustment has been made to offer some support in this situation.
  6. Think about it—everyone else leveled up the normal way, and now new players should get a free level 58 boost? That wouldn’t really be fair, would it? There are people actively leveling right now, putting in the effort just like everyone else did. I get that leveling can feel tiring, but it’s actually pretty quick, especially with help from others. Plus, it doesn’t have to be rushed—it’s meant to be an enjoyable part of the game.
  7. Yes, and yes.
  8. I'll look into a solution for this. However, keep in mind that you always have the buff in the zone, which is more than you would if there were Horde around, so you do have a nice advantage, for free.
  9. Congrats and well deserved. Morogrim isn’t something that can be cheesed on Felmyst.
  10. Greetings, While this may not be what you are accustomed to, this interaction is working as intended.
  11. I actually laughed at this, I will send you a little something special in-game as a thank you.
  12. This is working as intended, there is some randomization.
  13. There are no exceptions to this rule.
  14. There are technical reasons as to why some addons being allowed is not feasible. As discussed many times before, everything you need to play the game properly is inherent to the default, unmodified client. Is it more challenging? Yes, of course, but that's the nature of this server and how I believe Blizzard "Intended" this game to be, otherwise they would've built all these addons into the client. Knowing when your CC is going to break is part of the challenge of the game.
